Nikos Kastrinios - Project Manager at the Orasis Acupuncture Center

Nikos Kastrinios is the Project Manager of the Athens Eye Acupuncture Center and   has been involved with the healthcare sector since 2003 in both managerial and clinical positions. 

Mr Kastrinios holds 2 University Master degrees. The International Master’s degree (MBA) in Health Economics & Pharmacoeconomics, by UPF, Barcelona School of Economics & Management & and the  Master of Science (MSc) in Transfusion & Transplantation Science by the University of Bristol, UK. Mr Kastrinios graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Science.  

Mr Kastrinios previous work at Paul O’Gorman Leukaemia Research Center, UK & and at Iaso Maternity & Obstetrics Hospital, Greece gave him the opportunity to communicate with sensitive groups of patients from a young age. Through his everyday interaction with patients and medical professionals, he appreciates the needs and expectations of both parts.  His involvement with medical tourism projects dates back to 2014 combining his experience as Business Development Executive of medical tourism companies and as a freelancer.

He was attracted by the opportunity to work in, and coordinate an innovative and highly ambitious project involving acupuncture treatment for the visually impaired.  The humanistic aspect and the care for the fellow man in need are the core values which characterize the organization and Nikos embraces this idea.
